Scallop Bouquet Tutorial....

Here's the tutorial I promised. It's REALLY easy..and I can't tell you how many other things I am planning on covering these flowers with.

The tutorial is direct and to the point. If you have any questions please don't hestiate to contact me and I'll clarify.

Note: The bead used at the top of the wire is used mainly for the paper scallop to have something to hold onto. Without the bead the paper will slip through the wire.

I'd LOVE to see what everyone else comes up with. Email me your completed projects by Thursday and I'll post them to my blog for everyone to see.

Have fun!

Scalloped Spring Bouquet

What do you think about this? I created this using my Scallop punch, Boho punch and Ginger Blossom designer paper.

I videoed the "How To" but it will have to wait till later. My daughter is in need of some 'mall time'.

Enjoy.

Altered metal Star

Yes, I've been away for quite some time. Maybe I should rename my blog to "The Random Blogger".

Here's something I created for Allie's store over at Croppsinville. I LOVE these metal stars. You might have seen them here and there, bigger and smaller but THIS is the perfect size. You can find all supplies over at the Croppinsville store.

Allie is still inputting all the info with images for the online store. It's very time consuming but wouldn't you rather see what is available before you buy it? You can find this metal star HERE.

You will also want to know that one of my fellow Creative Crew team members at Croppinsville, Norma Kennedy, is giving away some BLOG CANDY. Make sure you check out her blog for the details.

OK, I hate to post and run but I have GOT to get some rest before the kids get back from camp...in just 1 hour. It'll take me 30 minutes just to get to sleep!

Have a great weekend my friends.

The Long Lost Letter

Here's something I've been working on for an upcoming class called "The Long Lost Letter". Participants will create a stationary pouch along with 5 various notecards using 3 different stamp sets. The cards will be created with "Fresh Cuts" and several other stamp sets.

The purpose of this class is to "Escape" from the world of electronics and celebrate the hand-made card and the pleasures it gives when received by others.

Check out "Melanie's Events" in the side bar for more details.
