Always....a labor of love

Almost two weeks and I haven't posted. I've been away in Palm Springs which was fabulous and returned to the hustle and bustle of everyday life without time to catch up.

I had to fit in some stamping time this weekend though. Sadly I didn't do my blogger challenges (missed two in fact), but they'll be up tomorrow.

Here's a card that took me ALL day to do.

Yes.....ALL day, because anyone who has kids knows you can't work it for more than 5 minutes at a time or something like this happens:

I heard "No, No" from big brother and knew that couldn't be good!

Sadly, this lipstick is only a month old. The 'rest' of it is mushed inside the cap.

Thank goodness the lipstick was on his face. My son as a three year old took at tube and saw just how much damage he could do in my living room with a tube of lipstick. It's a good think my husband can get the furniture reupholstered. You art project looks exquisite, I can see why it would take you a whole day! So nice seeing you in Sunny Palm Springs!

Your card is beautiful!!! I can relate to the kids thing, Easter morning, boys are dressed for church with pale yellow dress pants and beige suit coats, I painted my nails bright pink, next thing I know there are bright pink stripes down the youngest ones pale yellow pants, needless to say he did not ever wear those brand new pants!!!!

beautiful card Mel!! I definitely know what that is like with kids - in fact, I have the same pic of my middle one just like this. :) I was actually trying to do laundry and DH was supposed to be watching them, but alas - she found my lipstick too!
