Thanks for the chance to win a King Cake! I am most looking forward to chocolate bunnies!!! Okay, all bunnies are cute, but chocolate bunnies are yummy :-) I just love that everything is new again at Easter and in Spring.

I've always wanted to try to make one of these cakes.

Easter is such a great time enjoying the usual traditions of the holiday (i.e., coloring eggs, food, friends, family if we drive the 1200 miles for a visit.) It is also a time when we remember the blessings we receive because of the atonement. What I look forward to most is a quiet weekend with my husband and kids. Activities are few because so many are busy or traveling. It is a wonderful thing.

What a fun blog candy. Wow! I am so excited because my oldest daughter (who has been living in Hawaii and Honduras for the last 7 or 8 years now) will be arriving on Feb 10th and will be living with us until her husband can find a job and a place for them to live. So we will be celebrating Easter with them this year!! She lived for almost 2 years in Baton Rouge, LA and brought us a King Cake when she came home!! That was so fun and they are so delicious!!! It would be wonderful to win one and be able to share it with my daughter!

I love the spring flowers - tulips, daffodils, etc. But now that I live in Florida, I only see them in the stores. But I still love this time of year. And I've never eaten a King Cake - thanks for the chance to win one.

I am looking forward to sunshine and green grass. Right now in Michigan we are under cold and grey wintry conditions and I miss the smell of Spring. So when I think of Easter I think of sunshine, grass and blue skies.

I'm most looking forward to the peace I always get from Good Friday and Holy Thursday. It will mean even more to me this year since my father just passed away last Friday. He always loved King Cakes and to receive this would be an awesome rememberance of him.

My office always has a "Fat Tuesday Potluck" and we purchase a King Cake mix from "N'Orlens" to bake. If you find the baby, you bake the cake next year! I'd love to win a King Cake. Easter is always a glorious morning of renewal. For me it is the one more chance to be a better person.

Look fwd to Spring flowers and the smell of freshness after a Spring rain....and, of course, finding out what the "cake" is like????

Anne Giblin said...

What a fabulous stamp this will make. Easter means new life--the Resurrection, flowers breaking through their blanket of snow, real live bunnies running around, warmer weather--just to name a few.

Twilight Designs said...

Easter means a time with family. It also means spring is just around the corner, and that means a re-birth of our world around us, just like our re-birth with Jesus! (I wish we could skip over the wet, muddy part though) lol

Candi Wood said...

I'm looking forward to celebrating the "joy" of what Easter brings. The glory of the resurection, the beginning of new life in the plants and budding of the trees the fun and celebration of it all Thanks for the chance to win a "never before seen or tasted Kings Cake"

I'm looking forward to winning this cake! Only kidding, but it would be fun. I'm really looking forward to God coloring his world with all the beauty of nature that inspires us so much, especially in our creativity.

I think I've missed the cut off for the drawing by a few minutes, but wow, what a neat idea for blog candy. I always look forward to Easter to celebrate our risen Lord, Spring, and new birth. Everything seems to be renewed.
