What do you think so far of those fabulous projects using the Pocket Acorn? It's always interesting seeing how each design team members comes up with a different Creative Take using the same template.
If you're just joining the Pocket Acorn blog hop you can start here and continue viewing the projects going forward by selecting the button at the bottom. You're also free to view that awesome sample of Ruth Trice's giant Pocket Strawberry.
I've taken a different approach using this Pocket Acorn for a fall cider pouch holder.
The Orchard Harvest DSP was the perfect choice for the acorn cap and cherry cobbler to supply an even richer color for the fall.
For the teapot, I clipped one of the apples from the left over DSP and peices of the teapot from the "From My Heart" stamp set. Dimensions to lift the banner and the teapot adds extra dimension.
Here's a glimpse of the inner pocket with a cider packet and some cinnamon sticks tied up with ribbon.
I hope you've enjoyed my Creative Take on the Pocket Acorn from the Septemeber issue, Autumn Amidst of the Paper Crafters Sampler. Now, hop on over to Lisa Hensley site and check out her festive project.

Amazing how papers can change a project. The teapot idea is too cute.
Love it Melanie!! Never thought to use it as a gift pouch other then candy!! You are one brilliant lady, thanks for all you do for us!!
I love your Cider Pouch -- so creative AND gorgeous! This retro/vintage feel is right up my alley!!
So cute! And clever! Love what you did with the tea pot!
Your project is fabulous! Has a very autumn feel to it. I love the border on the dsp. Perfect packaging for the apple cider and cinnamon sticks.
Mel, I love this one and I love the template! Thanks for creating it!
So adorable Mel!!
hmmm I can just smell those spices!
Gorgeous!! Love it!!
wow - what a great idea!!! love this!
Love the pouch idea... but that apple tea pot just made me squeal!
Beautiful project! Love that designer paper and great idea to use your creation as a fall cider pouch holder.
I adore teapots and drinking tea:) This is simply charming! I remember a 3D sled you did with the SU Build a Bird on it. The bird was either red with a tan wing or the other way around. I made a card with that in mind. While linking to your site, I tried to find that beautiful creation of yours but couldn't. Can you point it out to me? I'm sure some of my followers would be interested and may buy some of your patterns.
I love all of them especially the Cider one. Is there a tutorial on how to make the box? I would love to know how you did that. I love the stamp set and putting an apple there is adorable. jackielwatson2009@hotmail.com
