Altered Photo Frame

During Fathers day, Target had some wooden photo frames in their Dollar section. I picked up several of these frames to use as future projects for my stamp clubs. Now, (WEEKS LATER), I decided to pull one out and have some fun.

The frame is covered with new Dashing designer paper. Simply traced the inner and outer parts of the frame and taped it down with sticky strip. The embellishes are from the On Board Blossoms & Basics chipboard pack from Stampin' Up! and are also covered with several of the new designer papers from Stampin' Up!; Dashing, Cerise & Brocade Background.

The word Peace is from the level 2 hostess set "Perfect Presentation".

Just for You

Here is something I whipped up tonight. It's the Ronald McDonald set from Stampin' Up! called "Just for You". It's really a great set as it has a little bit of everything in it; flowers, butterflies and words.

The wavy lines were created with the Pumpkin Spectrum Pad. I stamped on the two middle rows (yellow and red) and then the two outer most rows (mustard and green). The flowers up top were stamped with the smallest flower from the set and then punched out with the Punch from the "Three for You" punch box.

Cheery Jumbo Paperclip

Here is a jumbo paperclip I made for the a Challenge on my Rubbapalooza egroup. This sample uses the new Cerise paper from SU! and the On Board Blossoms chipboard. The butterfly is from the Just for you (Ronald McDonald set) and is stamped in Staz-on.

French Flair Trio

Here's something I created with the new Three For You Punch Box. (pg. 183 of the catalog) I pulled out my French Flair (pg. 129 ) background stamp (SO glad it made it to the new catalog), along with the "Carte Postal" stamp set. Purely Pomegranate, Apricot Appeal and mustard cardstock and the coordination dye pads. The dove is stamped with a Chocolate Chip craft pad and embossed with clear embossing powder. Other accessories include Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon and So Saffron brads from the Rich Regals color assortment.

Going Baroque ~ July

Here is one of four cards my guest will be creating in my "Going Baroque" class this upcoming Sunday at the Whole Foods Market in Baton Rouge. The idea came from A. Celona. It uses the Baroque Motifs set and the River Rock dye pad with Glitter. This uses the River Rock dye pad but registered guest will be using Soft Sky.

The photo on the right is a close-up of the medallion.

The Beginning

"WELCOME" to my Rubbapalooza Blog. This is an extension of my Rubbapalooza newsletter and is meant to offer you inspiration for creating your own works of art with the use of rubberstamps.

Okie Doke! That's about the end of my first ever blog post. It'll be fun to look back in a year and see how it all began.

This blog won't be officially announced until August (that'll give me some time to learn all of thee cool features).
